Classics on Kent brings the magic of Classic cars to downtown Lindsay!

Thousands of people and hundreds of classic cars are expected to converge on Lindsay, Ontario on Sunday, July 13th, 2008 for an experience that's all about Classic Cars and Hot Rods.

The presenting sponsor A&W plus the feature sponsors Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce , Lindsay Downtown BIA The Daily Post and various volunteers have joined forces to bring the magic of the downtown car show that raised the bar for car shows in Ontario.

Classics on Kent will see Lindsay Downtown lined with Antiques, Classics, Rods & Customs. Touted as the widest main street in Ontario, Kent Street in Lindsay is the ultimate setting for a downtown car show. The show will run from 9a.m. - 3p.m. on Sunday, July 13th, 2008.

Coinciding with the Classics on Kent car show will be the already successful Brits in the Park , a show in neighbouring Victoria Park focusing on Vintage British Cars and boasting an attendance of 5000 people!

Classics on Kent is a show for the whole family with great entertainment all day including the Bloodline Blues Band performing live from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. It's going to be hard to stand still when all of Kent Street is filled with good 'OL Rock 'n' Roll!

In addition to these featured events, the Classics on Kent weekend will promote a Saturday Night Cruise at A&W, Sunday Antique Show, and a Sunday Soap Box Derby on our special downtown Kent Street. Classics on Kent is also pleased to support the Ross Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
